Female singer Yemi Alade who gained stardom after her hit song ‘Johnny’, is about to Launch Accessory Line on November 5, 2015.

Alade who won the award for female artiste of the year at the 2015 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) has made a name for herself as a style icon. Alade’s outfits are always unique and she piles on statement accessories to compliment her outfits. Lately she has been sporting the South-African hairstyle Bantu knots for a while now as opposed to wearing long weaves like other celebrities.


The Johnny singer on Monday, October 5, announced to her fans that she will be designing her very own accessory line called ‘Yemi Alade Collection’ after one year of putting the idea together.

She had on a hot red high-low Mystics dress and Jeffrey Campbell shoes to the unveiling.

Also to be launched on the same platform is the ‘Get Mented’ initiative, an innovative mentorship network for girls and women across Nigeria which aims at providing a platform through which girls and women across Nigeria are given the opportunity to give and receive mentorship in vocational and (or) career development, self-improvement, financial intelligence and intellectual development.
