China man Invents Automatic Hair Washing Machine
A man has invented a fully automatic hair washing machine for the elderly and disabled, Sichuan province, China.
After experimenting for 16 years and braking 18 motorcycle helmets in process, Chen Gongke finally created a machine that can shampoo, massage and dry a user’s hair.
The idea of developing an automatic washing device came to Chen after watching his paralysed grandma struggling to wash her hair.
And he says although it was not completed in time to help his granny, he hopes it will help many other people.
The unsual machine consists of a simple motorcycle helmet, two water tanks and a powered control panel.
First it sprays water and shampoo into the helmet, gently massages your scalp, thorough cleans hair and at the end blow-dries it with warm air.
The whole process takes less than five minutes. Chen has successfully tested the device on his father and already received a national patent.
